SUPERINTENDENT
JOB DESCRIPTION / SUMMARY:
P.A.V.C.O. Contracting Group, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Superintendent . The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of onsite supervision, with an emphasis on finish work, safety, permit inspection management, project planning, scheduling, directing subcontractors, resolving conflicts on site, inspecting work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, quality assurance, and quality control. Good oral and written communications skills are highly valued.
THIS IS A POSITION FOR A TRAVELLING SUPERINTENDENT.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Construction as a Superintendent
- Working Knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry Regulations (29 CFR 1926)
- Knowledgeable of the construction process, safety procedures, construction materials and methods, read and understand blueprints
- Ability to manage the self-perform work of employees and subcontractors
- Strong leadership skills; to include prioritization and organization, detail-oriented and task focused
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all level of associates, vendors, contractors, consultants and clients
- Computer literate with proficiency using industry standard software, scheduling, email, and internet
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills required
- Must be a committed and experienced team player
